Graduation collection from Iceland University of the Arts, 2021. Pieces made from fabric that I made and recycled from 100% polyester satin.
Trimmings, shoes and accessories handmade using silicone moulded resin and threads. De-woven satin, combed, handspun and felted into new fabric.

Deconstruction

Distrust
Empty words
“sustainability”
“eco-friendly”
“reuse”
I take them apart
Analyze them
Clothes become pieces
Pieces become threads
Threads become…what?

Reconstruction

Freezing a concept.
Past becomes future.
Combing, felting.
Spinning, knitting.
Threads lead the way.
One pattern, many results.
A comic result.
